The Livermore Valley Chamber of Commerce holds its seventh annual Business Expo & Mixer on Wednesday, Sept. 9, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Garre Vineyards and Winery, 7986 Tesla Road. Entry is free and the afternoon is open to the public, not only to chamber members.

The expo is held indoors this year. Exhibitors come from several lines of business across the valley, and the chamber says there will be food and drink alongside the booths.

"We are honored to host our local Chambers of Commerce for this very successful event," Sherri Souza, the chamber's CEO and president, said in the announcement. "The event is open to the public and the exhibitors will be from several areas of business in our communities."

For a business that wants a table rather than a name tag, booth space costs $400 for chamber members and $500 for businesses that have not joined. Tables, chairs and tablecloths are provided. Food and beverage vendors are not charged for their space; the chamber handles those arrangements separately.

Sponsorships were still available when the chamber announced the event in August. Reservations, booth space and sponsorship questions go through the chamber at livermorechamber.org or 925-447-1606.

The doors close at 7 p.m.
