F45 Training Dublin is due to open this month, the studio's owner announced through the Dublin Chamber of Commerce in June.

The owner is Smitha Kundoor, who describes the studio as a fitness community rather than a gym membership, and says her own training habit is what led her to the franchise.

The format is the one F45 runs worldwide: a coached group session of 45 minutes, scaled to the people in the room, mixing cardio, strength and endurance work with functional movements. The length is the selling point for anyone fitting a workout between a commute and a school pickup. Class types include strength and resistance sessions, cardio sessions and hybrid programs.

Two things are still unannounced: the street address in Dublin and the opening day within August. Founding membership terms have not been published either.

The studio is posting opening updates on its franchise page at f45training.com and on Instagram at f45_training_dublinca.
