The Dublin Senior Center opens National Senior Center Month on Tuesday, Sept. 1, with coffee and donuts — the first of four events it has scheduled through the end of the month. The city posted the lineup Aug. 26.

The rest of the month:

  • Senior Movie Night — Friday, Sept. 11, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The center stays open after hours for a film and fresh popcorn.
  • Community Craft & Cookies — Tuesday, Sept. 15, 1 p.m. A project to make and take home, with cookies and conversation. The city says the afternoon is set up for first-timers as well as regular crafters.
  • End of Summer Social — Thursday, Sept. 24, 1 p.m. Music, light refreshments and games to close out the month.

All four are held at the Dublin Senior Center, 7600 Amador Valley Blvd. The city’s notice does not list a price or a registration requirement for any of them.

For details, the center takes calls at 925-556-4511 and email at seniorcenter@dublin.ca.gov.
